Alright all you 650 guys... Did Yamaha ever make an XS that had a spoked rear wheel with disk brake?

Or, do any of you know of another wheel that the rotor and sprocket will bolt to?

Thanks in advance.

Jesse

For the XS650, no they didn't.

As for other yamaha bikes, I don't know of any off the top of my head.

Unless you have loads of money to throw at it, just convert to drum.
Here's the expensive way.
XS650 front spoke hub with omar's rear wheel conversion, laced to a redrilled 16 or 18 inch hoop with custom length buchanans spokes, or just run a 19" front wheel as a rear.

Damn! Why does everything have to be so complicated?

Its easy to switch over to a drum wheel.

78-79 Suzuki GS1000 had rear spoke wheel with disc brake. I've seen them used on an xs, but not sure how much work it involved for spacing, sprocket size, etc.

oh and good luck finding one of those, I've been watching eBay for a long while and have yet to see one. Must not be that common.
