Anyone on here know Jaymes/Blue Moon Kustoms?
I've tried to get in contact with him, for a while, regarding the status of a paint-job that I have him doing and haven't heard back about it. I realize that life happens, maybe he has some stuff keeping him from getting online/back to me so I thought I'd check on here to see if anyone has heard from him. If you know him, please let him know I'm trying to get in contact with him.
Thanks.

Dude, seriously?

One guy posts a question and is having a less than perfect experience and you're going to jump the gun and say this guy has no customer service, and no good feedback.

I've never dealt with him personally, but I've seen his work in person and on this and other boards, and his customers have never had anything but the highest regard of his work.

Second, the dude is very likely swamped with work and that kind of job isn't something you can just get in and out the door like fuckin' Maaco. But yeah, still keep in touch with your customers and let them know the status, but you don't know the situation.

Don't let this turn into another "Nash" thread. Ten pages of shit talking, only to conclude with, "yeah, they made good and are actually good guys."

Just saying.

i had him do a helmet for me also...he did take a little while but all was well and helmet made it back to me safe and better than ever. he does lax a bit in communication as far as how often you hear from him BUT, when you do hear from him all questions are answered.

+1 for BMK

Jaymes has done super right by me - panel for Henry was drop dead gorgeous, came wrapped in goodies and was half the price I expected - he's doing a full face for me and I told him to take whatever time he wanted - super easy to work with, responsive, and better than expected - when I need my tins painted, he'll get them

And yes, it's hard to type in the paintbooth

Our dealings with him have been good. We understand as well as anyone when you have a one or two or three person shop sometimes phone or email time can be very difficult especially during riding season. I imaging it's even harder for him since he spends so much time on work that requires both his hands AND full attention! In alot of the country people are all pushing to get everything done so they can get their short riding season in!

Dude, thinking it was maybe a bad idea starting this thread. Your gonna get a buncha people judging this guy without even knowing his situation. I hope he pulls through for you, but if he reads this he might take his time getting your shit out.

I work in a special ed. class and today we went to the movies to see "How to train your dragon", the movies was great, but the main star named "Hiccup" had a dad that was such a JERK!!! I don't know if it was because his son was such a horrible viking, or because his son sounded like my buddy Mike from Frisco who sounds all mega stuffy. Any ways the dad was a major asshole, and I though about how dads are FUCKING DICKS, I was about to call my dad and cus him out like crazy, but then the movie took a turn for the better. The son ends up showing the vikings that dragons are cool, and his dad ends up being all cool (he's a viking)....but at the end the kids leg gets fucking RIPPED OFF...

anyways, don't jump to conclusions and be patient, cuz dragons are nice, and my dad almost beat the shit outta me today. It would have been my fault though, cuz my dad is cool, like a lot of dads.

Hiccup taught me to have courage and to follow my heart, no matter what people say.

Remember...quality work takes time. Also, painters work on a different time than the most of us 9-5ers. My buddy just got his tank and helmet done. It is worth the wait.

I'd never definitively give away an ending! Took my kids to see it. Good flick, actually. Hit it up on netflix or redbox.

i imagine the guy is super busy. his work kicks major ass and everyone who sees it wants it. my friend recently hit him up for a helmet twice with no response and he was all butthurt about it. i told him the same thing, that hes probably just swamped and not to worry about it. he got a helmet by chicagochris instead.

ok might have jumped the gun a bit here and no offense but i personally have had shit happen like this where i take something to someone such as a motor and walla they disappear off the face of the earth im not saying that this guy is a bad guy or runs a bad business but when you have someone elses property you are doing a service for them communication is a must. honestly i dont know this dude from a stick in the mud... that being said no one should take my opinion wrongly that he runs a bad business or has bad customer service but i run a very successful small business and i realize sometimes its hard to get back to people but that small phone call to one person could be the difference between a dude posting a thread like this and not.. just sucks for the dude that made the first post.. i mean he is at his wits end obviously i mean hes looking for the dude on an internet forum?? does any one have any pictures of his work might save this guy his reputation on here.

There a bunch of different ways to contact people/vendors. Choosing facebook, chopcult, email, telephone, etc is way better than starting a forum thread. These kinds of threads always derail with people making assumptions, piling on in favor or against when most don't know the situation or circumstances. Even when it is resolved in the end, the dude in question generally gets some tarnish on his reputation whether it is deserved or not.

If you want to flame someone for conclusively sucking or ripping you off, that's a different story, since that helps other members on here avoid a bad deal. But these kinds of "anyone heard from" posts are going straight to the junk pile from now on.

Problem solved. Ben's fender is on it's way back to him. I was having some problems with it and didn't want to send it back until it was right, so it took longer than it should have. I'm just a one man show, and am super swamped w/ work. I should have let him know what was up, but I tend to spend more time in the shop lately than on the computer. I try to answer all emails, messages, and requests for price quotes, but sometimes some of them slip through the cracks. Anyways it was my mistake and Ben is super cool for waiting. I also really appreciate everybody having my back until I had a chance to respond.
