So I picked up this 83 750 twin for a steal and have been thinking about what I want to do with it. I'm going to drop the back end with some solid steel struts, throw on a set of z bars, and put a set of forward controls on, and ditch all the unnecessary stuff on it. Then I'm going to spray it matte black, then figure out what I want exhaust wise, probably fan up a set of custom pipes.

Lol I wasn't planning on it. I can't stand that look. Honestly was thinking about swapping the wheels for spokes anyways.

I'm going to be moving the electrics on it to give it a cleaner look. Basically if it doesn't make it go faster, stop quicker its not going back on. One thing I really hate about this bike is the triple backbone. So Il probably leave the tank on it for now. Debating on putting a solo seat with scissor spring on it also.

Hopefully this is what it'll look like when its done. Maybe I'll put on sportster shocks.

sporty shocks may be too stiff for a lighter bike.sportys around 500 lbs, yours should be 100 lbs lighter ,if you could get adjustable ones, it would soften the ride some, unless you like it hard .whatever makes the big grin happen.

Yeah it'll be on the stiff side, but with the scissor springs on the solo seat it should be okay.
