So this is my first bike. I grew up on dirt but that doesn't really matter on here. I inherited a 1997 v4 magna from my dad after he lost interest and left it rotting away for 5 years under a bridge in long beach at a boatyard he works at. he asked if i wanted it or if he should ship her off to the scrap heap. all i could say is really what the fuk, of course i want it dumbass what took you so long. he says the only thing i had to do is pay the back tags for the last 5 1/2 years., which was like 600$. So I started but taking everything apart trying to clean off all the rust and oxidation. rebuilt the carbs and up'd the needle sizing, put on cobra pipes. K&N air filter, new plugs. and changed all the fluids. pretty basic shit. took off the tank and had to repair a baseball size dent. stripped all the paint from the whole bike and rattle can painted everything. (at the time i worked for a company called "Color Rite" that makes oem paints for bikes and cars, so the rattle can shit was actually good quality). I then cut open the sofa chair stock seat and reshaped the pan and the foam to my liking. Which I then recovered with a black leather coat i got from a thrift store. Then took off the stock rear fender and swapped it with a steel blank fender that I cut to shape. I had originally made a side mount license with a Model A light from lowbrow, but the mount for the light ended up breaking off, so I got a new led light and plate mount also from lowbrow. changed the gears to Renthal front and back. Plastidipped my wheels and now I've just been riding the holly shit out of her for the last 2 years. I was originally going to go for the bobber look but the bikes a fatass, and it wouldn't look right so its just a custom heres some progress pics
