My cousin dropped this thing off at my house the other day. Sure is an ugly bugger in stock form, but you'll see most of the crap is already gone. This will probably be a slow project but should make a super fun bike.

I really don't know much about it yet. I have yet to track down a repair manual. I was able to track down a wiring diagram though. Holy shit is it a complicated system. Way more shit than it should have. If I can figure a way to eliminate about 3/4 of it I'll be doing well.

How'd the build on the Ascot go? Thinking about picking one up for real cheap but very new to the rebuild game.

KNUT If you can pick up that ft500 do it its a great bike to blast around town on. I picked one up for $500 in Feb. and its my daily until I get the triumph done.

My only issue with the purchase is that the seller is telling me it is not currently running. I'm checking it out tonight at 5:30 so we'll see what happens.

Man, I've had so much going on I actualy forgot I posted this. I got the bike just before my son was born. I stripped it all down & cut up the pipe for mods & that's as far as I got. For months I had no time for projects so I sold the bike. Still in the family though, so when it does get finished I'll try to get some pics.
