Hi All
I've had this little gn400 in a friends shed for years so thought I'd change it from the hideous lanky pile of shite that it was into something a bit cooler.
First job was to tilt the motor back into more of an upright position to try and give it more of a Classic Brit look

Next I stuck a rear hoop on..

Then came the tank,I ordered a wassell replica and that seemed to suit it quite well with just a small frame mod. Also got a friend to shorten the forks at this point...

Wasn't too sure what I wanted for the seat, was thinking maybe a flat brat style but then I found this one cheap...

And here is how it sits so far. Put a little upswept silencer on and clip on bars. Will run a side mount tail light and plate and will be adding some dual sport type tyres

It's a Braffe' or maybe a Carrat. Looks like fun to throw around some corners so you feel like your going fast.
The above meant in the nicest ball busting way 8D

Thanks guys. I'm enjoying the process of putting this together. I really don't mind what people want to call it,last week I called it Matthew but this week I'm really liking braffe'.

Hello chaps,little update..
Pulled it apart and got some paint on the frame and motor so now it's going back together.
Not sure what to do about painting the tank yet? Maybe leave it? maybe baby blue? Maybe leave it then.

Hey I love how this turned out. I am building a GN400 right now, I am currently looking for a tank for it but realized that there would have to be some mods done in order to get a peanut tank on it. Could you share what mods you did to get that tank on? Do you have any pics that may show the mods or how the tank mounts?

Also is that tank the 2 Gal "Wassell" Peanut Bobber Tank (Mid tunnel) or is it a (High tunnel)?

I appreciate any help.

Awesome ride!

Thanks very much.
It's a lowbrow 2gal high tunnel. I just had to grind back where the seat rails/rear cradle meet the top tube to get the tank to fit, maybe adding some sort of brace would be a good idea but I haven't yet.
The tank is just fitted to the top tube with bungs or studs. Cheers

WOW. Thanks for the quick reply. Now that I know it can be done fairly easy I will go ahead and order one.

Thanks!
