Ok i bought a 07 vt600 shadow with a twisted frame and 1600 miles on it. I bought a frame on ebay off of a 92 vt600, hoping everything would bolt up. Today it showed up at the house, so i began to compare them and the only thing i can find different is the kick stand bracket, and the rear fender mounts. So... i cut the brackets off of the 07 and welded them to the 92 frame and it turned out to look factory. I plan on port-o-walls, mini apes, slam the back, fab up a custom short exhaust, suicide shift and a few other things. I would love to do a rigid frame and pan seat BUT my future wife wants to ride so that through a wrench in my plans, so im going for a "super low tire hiding under a fender look" Also the Sugar Tits name was the name my better half came up with lol

I have had over the top and loved it but, this one is clean and road friendly plus she wants to ride with so i wanted to keep the fender and seat. The exhaust was loud as hell so i made some baffles out of half inch stainless tube and 2 washers cut in half welded on either side. Its much better now. today i got my jet kit in (stage 1 kit)and wow what a difference, no more back firing and no dead spots now.

oh and if any wants to slam their bike the rigid way, a 10 inch bar with with holes drilled a half inch from either end turns out to be about as low as you can go with the factory fender on a vt600
