looking for some help, wondering if a triumph weld on hardtail would work on a honda cl 350. doing my first build and want a hardtail (without having to bend tube for the first one). any info/help would be great

1. You could just buy some 1 1-8" .120 wall tubing and have it bent by a shop so that at least your angles match and cut up and use your existing axles plates if thats an option...$cheap

2. The TC bros universal hardtail kit is popular.. and for a good reason. $125, saves lots of time.
Look at the build threads on here and youll find some examples...

3. Weld some tubing from the backbone to the upper part of the axle plate, keep your swingarm. Ive seen a couple examples here that dont look to bad..$cheapest

I wouldnt try using a pre-made hard tail meant for any other bike...mo' money and mo' problems at the same time..

thanks for the info, will go with one of the above. either get the tube and have it bent or go the tc bros route.

The triumph hardtail WILL work. The guys from Half Fast Chicago did it on one of their bikes.
