So i am building a hardtail frame for my 2007 Roadstar and also making hte bike right side chain drive like the euro bike the MT-01.

I am just curious if it would be a big deal to shift the motor 3/8 - 1/2 inch to the left off center compared to stock in order to get my drive line where it needs to be.

Please explain your answer

Thank you!

It all has to do with balance. Find the centerline of your engine by setting it on something and then find the center of your frame. The engine may need to go the way you need it to anyways. But It must not matter to the harley guys that bolt a 5in belt drive on with 80lbs of billet. SO I would say youll be fine with the 1/2in ;)
