Not a bad looking hardtail using the stock swing arm. Trust me I have seen some pretty ugly stuff! Nice bike!

haha yeah the seats really big. my friends dad is like the VP of mustang motorcycles and he gave me a few to try out, but im thinking just a metal pan with a nice curve once i get the real rigid frame going on, been riding all day, soo nice out !

sooo... i got really impatient yesterday and wanted to mess with my bike.. sooo this is what i did...

made a 2x4 jig for the rear end setup. im a bit skeptical about getting all this done in the next few days. but ohwell ! looking to see some custom control setups, maybe some wiring help ? all i want is a headlight and a brake light. hah what can i get rid of so i dont have this huge mess of wires.

for the forward controls.. TC bros makes some universal forward controls, or you can use something like the linkage kit from bungking.com to make your own. Or you can be ghetto and do what I did.. I used a tire iron, a caulking gun rod, and a metal stake to extend my factory controls forward 4". Check out the cmx450 jankster build thread...
As for wiring.. if you dont need it, get rid of it. Stator, rectifier, ign coil, head light, tail light, brake light switch.. thats all you need.

If your trying to use the stock rear mount on that tank I sent you, see if you can find a pic of a raw Ironhead frame. They put a half circle, like a pie e of round stock cut in half like a half moon, and weld that to the bottom of the top tube on the frame. I have also seen people just drill a hole sideways through the frame, and shank it with a piece of round stock. I take it you didn't want to mess with the paint? I would hack off the old mounts and make new ones, but that flat black was so fresh and clean!

i made up a weird bracket, its all chopped up and in a million pieces now tho. i welded a stud out of the frame and made like a Z looking bracket that was welded to the tank and bolted to the frame.

I NEED WIRING DIAGRAMS because i ripped every wire out of the bike today and all i want it a Toggle ON/OFF and a push start, brake light and headlight. That is it.
