I bought a Yamaha Virago yesterday from a dude on Craigslist. Runs fine, but I'd like to do some customization. One of the things I need to do is identify parts. For example, handlebars...would these be 1" bars or 7/8" bars. Does anyone know a good resource that you can double check parts specs for projects like this?

If this is a stupid question, sorry. Its an early morning after going through a tank of gas yesterday and passing out in the garage with a huge smile on my face.

tape measure, and a set of dial calipers will go along way when comparing parts...

Cool. I saw the Clymer book on Ebay. It gives pretty detailed specs for the standard components? I'll pick one up. Thanks!
