I am putting together a 65 650. I have ordered the bolt on hard tail from lowbrow with a 4 inch stretch and 2 inch drop. I want the front to sit even with the rear and have a low racer look. My question is when I order a front springer do I need to get one with a 2 under or should I get a stock springer front. i know I will have to change the front neck bearings but what else do need to do to mount the springer.

When I looked into going with a springer I was going for a 2 under ...I think that is what you would want to get too.....

Yeah I would agree 2 under should make it sit nice

wouldn't wheel/tire combo be a HUGE factor in figuring this out???

This list of stock fork lengths might help. Or not I just realized it only has one triumph stock springer length.

Sorry, I guess it would of helped to mention that I am just using the stock 18 front wheel.

you're going to have huge axle issues - if you plan on using your stock front wheel with a springer.

Yea, I am going to have to get a harley or spool wheel . That's even more green I have to spend. I am thinking of just staying with the factory front. I just have the trees but I think I can find the rest for a whole lot cheaper than buying a front end and wheel.
Once again thanks for the info.

Isn't your front wheel a 19"?

Not to sound stupid, but I think it is an 18. I got a bunch of parts in a box and never really looked. I am just guessing on it being an 18. I wish I would of bought a complet bike now.

if you can - send me a pic of the springer - i may be interested in trading you for a stock one that would fit
