hey all wondering if you guys have ever used any of these all in one license plate brackets i live in ny and need turn signals, and im looking for alternative placement ideas. cause i hate the bulbs on the side so im thinking of ideas to make it all look tight and buttoned

thats the license plate i was thinking of, the top link is a bit less attractive but appears to be much brighter and over all visible.

these are the mirrors i was looking at to replace the front turn signals otherwise id use led wraps around the front forks. as linked below

well any input would be greatly appreciated and i do plan to use a "traditional" tail light with the license bracket

I live in NY to brother and I have been banging my head off the wall trying to figure out a place to hide the turn signals. I am thinking I am going to try to run old platform BMX pedals and fit signals on either side of the spinal facing forward and back. At least that is that's the plan this week. I still have a little while until I am at that point. But, if you do go with one of the all in ones I'd love to know how it works out.

Im in ny as well, currently all my running machines are old enough that I don't need turn signals, but i just picked up an 01 evo sporty. This is where my head is at right now for turn signals
maybe sticking them under the triple tree, and on the inner side of the fender.

I like the size of those, but I don't know about the whole double sided tape thing. I can imagine that holds up for the long haul.

I was also thinking about running an led strip across the back fender when I get one sourced out( I'm planning to run a front dresser fender in the rear with a lit tip for a break light) to mee would keep the rear end clean and idk about the 3-led turn signal looks a bit ditzy to me but the footpeg signal idea sounds gnarly kind of like the frame mounted signals people used to run

See if I had to choose a pair of slim bolt ons I'd do these

Those are clean, but holy shit are they expensive!!!! I'm thinking it shouldn't be to hard/ expensive to rig up some pedals. But I was also considering these http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-License-Plate-Bolts-Turn-Signals-Fits-Aprilia-RSV4-Factory-RSVR-Tail-Tidy-/261421355412?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3cdded5194&vxp=mtr

The aren't too obnoxious, and it would be a simple solution. But then I am lost on what to run up front.

Well I'm biased towards the flexible led strip I've seen a few on bike and they look pretty slick to me, but you have a slew of options what kind of bike are you building? A picture perhaps?

Might even get away with frame mounted signals those look pretty cool

that 3M stuff is pretty strong, plus if your that worried, peel it off and use your favorite adhesive, I'm sure you could even drill holes though the ends of those and mount them with screws if you so desired.

Yeah they use 3m a lot to hold trim on cars so I'd hope it would be saw a test that took about 70 pound of force to pull off two, finger sized pieces so I don't think it would fail. And it wasn't even cured all the way

I have the led's in the mirrors on my sporty and I really like them. nice that the mirrors pull double duty
