This isnt my bike, but I am going to be doing a lot of the work, and helping to teach the owner a thing or two. My old ladys little brother picked up this 79 Suzuki GS850 for $200. It had been sitting for a long time, and had all kinds of touring crap on it. After we got it unloaded I ran home to get my battery charger and a few tools, by the time I got back there were nuts and bolts and parts everywhere. The Windkutter fairing, bags, and trunk did not last long at all.
After new points, plugs, and some fresh gas, we got it running. Got it timed today, and changed the oil. Sounds pretty damn good. It needs a clutch cable, but that is no biggy. I have seen some pictures of some pretty cool shaft drive chops, so here we go. I will post some progress pics as he goes.

This is after the first ride, he was pretty stoked. He was a little pissed that I put the big ass couch cushion seat back on it, but it works for now.

This is one of our buddies bikes, and I think this is kinda the look he is going for.
