I'm sure I'm going to feel like a complete idiot and it's something incredibly obvious...

I put an FMA Enricher Knob on my Super E Shorty. I'm at a loss as to where the steps engage for choke and half. It just pops back down as soon as I pull it up. As aforementioned, I'm sure it's something really obvious that I'm missing but I'm still missing it.

Please. Thank you.

Does it twist when you pull it up?

Doesn't it TWIST to the side into position?

On mine u lifted it and gave a half turn to hold it in place. Post a pic.

It twists but it doesn't engage on any of the notches. It just keeps twisting whether it's up or down. It only stays up if I hold it up.

I think u have the enricher that attaches to the lever on the air cleaner. If u don't run their air cleaner u need the one with the notches.

Someone replaced your enrichening circuit with an aftermarket setup of some sort. Get the stock shit back on there and the FMA set screw will secure the knob so you can lift and turn to the two heights available...

Make sense?

You simply pull up, twist, and let the knob sit on the "step" for about half enrichment or pull all the way up and twist for it to sit on the bottom of the skirt on the knob.
You should be fine for starting and warming up the bike, you shouldn't be riding with the enrichener on at all. If you are you probably have tuning issues.
My shovel rarely even needs the enrichener pulled at all to start after 3-4 prime kicks.

Yeah. That makes perfect sense. It's a new bike and my first Super E. I just assumed the enricher was stock. Thanks!

No. I don't need the enricher on to ride. Want to have the half setting for when I'm warming the bike up. Thanks.
