Hi everyone, I am new here and this is my project thread. I took an XL600 from 1986 and the chop was inevitable :)

So, this is how I got it with 2 engines in 5 boxes haha

After that I stripped some parts

And with swingarm 4inch back.

in order to get what I wanted, the frame had to be completely cut

i have started this build September 2012. and i am taking it easy.
meanwhile i have mounted rear fender and replaced this cateye back light with fender mounted small round bates style like the front one. also today i rewired complete electricals and placed it all into the ammo box. hope to get more pics tomorrow. looking forward to gain some wisdom and knowledge from you guys.

Wow! That thing is sweet. Would love to see/hear that thing going down the road. Great job! Who would have thought you could turn a dirt bike frame a bad ass looking rigid.

Cool idea. Those bikes were fast and can be bought cheaply. Looks good.

This bike is sick, I love it, Is that a kit hardtail on it? The stance is spot on
