anyone here have any good insight into honda cb 360's? there seems to be a million places to get 350 parts, but the 360 ones seem harder to get. any problems you have come across or thoughts in general on how good/bad of a bike the 360's are. looking to pick one up but am weary of it being a horror show. thanks

I've been working on a 76 cb360 i've been working on and haven't had too much of a problem finding parts. Then again the one i found was in pretty solid shape to start with.

There are really only two things that I know of, the cam chain slipper had a recall on it after '74, if yours has had it done there will be a couple of dots stamped after the engine number. The cams have no bearings in the head, so if its been abused with overrevs the head can starve of oil and the cam journals will score up big time.

The CB360 was an upgrade to the CB350. That means that the powertrain is different from the 350. The reality thought is that it wasn't produced that long and it doesn't have the racing options that the 350 has (you can race a 350 but not a 360) so it is sort of an orphan bike. Pretty much no aftermarket stuff. The beauty of it is that they are very very cheap and you can do whatever with them and not feel like you are risking a lot of money. So chop away.
