me and a buddy bought a 06 sportster that was wrecked pretty bad and decided to put sport bike forks and wheels on it. also had to redo alot of the back bone and did a single down tube on it

Didnt plan on it but dont even no for sure if thats the tank were using

not gonna lie, read the title of this thread and expected to find a bike that i was gonna hate...instead I see one of the raddest builds I've seen in awhile. It's kick ass, I just really want to test ride it for you.

Sorry no didn't take any pics but we had to make a sleeve for the harley stem to fit in the the tripple

we got rid of the some of the rake so it could sit higher now were thinking about doing a mono shock

Nice work. I dig the tighter front end with less rake but I'm more a fan of the dual shocks. Looks pretty good though. :cheersmate:

Awesome! I really have passed over this thread several times because I usually hate the hybrid crap you see but this thing is stellar. I have to say I liked the first setup better but both look good.

Missin' me with all the "wanted to hate" comments. What's to hate, most sportsters are begging for a front end upgrade. Is it a sport bike vs. harley thing?

Beautiful work, I really like what youve done so far. I loved my monoshock. It rode like a dream. Like a dragonfly as my friend put it. LOL
