Hi there,

I got a honda cb 400 four to collect soon. I was looking at some nice cb 500 customs and various cb's. I saw the gravel crew ones which are well good.

I noticed that some of the bikes have single frame downtubes, and some have 2 downtubes.

Does anybody know weather they changed to single downtube at a certain year?
I'm sure ive seen 550's with both single and double tubes.
Look at this gravel crew jobby,

It has 2. I whonder weather they modified it or used a standard frame.

Also, where the shit is that thread that's full of blistering cb custom's? Iv'e searched to buggery but I can't seem to find it.

most of the twins had single downtubes,,cb200,250,350,350,400,450 VS the inline 4's such as the cb350,500,550,650,750 had double down tubes thru the 70's year models
