Here is the complete build up of my bike so far I've been working on it off and on for about a year off and on but mostly beating the snot out of it.Stay posted for updates.

I got this bike from my cousin and it had already had some work done to it but corners were cut and I had to redo some stuff and while I was at it turned it into what you see here.If you have any questions please ask I will answer anything I can.

Bike breakdown.
1980 suzuki gs450
Nothing new on bike I only use found or parts not wanted by everybody else.
old renthal dirtbike bars a buddy gave me.
I needed a rear fender to keep from ruining my shirts so I grabbed a plate from my scrap pile and slapped it on till I can find a rear fender that looks good on the bike.
The sidecovers were missing I found one and said screw it and made the other out of an old picket sign in the right light light you can still see the anti scab painted on the sign.
The seat was a have to deal I was riding the bike around with a shirt tied around the rear frame horns and it was getting old so I looked around and spied the saw blade and it fit perfectly so it got welded on it is by far the most talked about piece on the bike.I have put roughly 2,000 miles on the bike in less than a year so yes its rideable like this.
I made the rear solid struts from an old slab of aluminum I had outback and drilled some speed holes to make them standout more the next mod is shortning the kickstand its so low now the kick stand pushes the bike over the other direction.
The pipes are homemade from stuff I had off old junk cars and even the black pipe wrap was off and old set of headers.
I still need some cool turn signals front and rear and a brake light just havent stumbled across anything cool and free or dirt cheap yet any help is cool with me.

Welp evidently the stickers werent meant to be on the bike anymore as they were destroyed yesterday by a local gas pump jocky that was talking and not watching what was happening. They pretty much slid off the bike and were discolored really bad from the fuel so I did remove them and threw some lettering on real quick until next month it already has a date with a pinstriper thats gonna go off on it.I finaly figured out a rear fender I was going through old ammo and then it was like HOLY CHIT this is it and I'll be ****ed it fit between the frame rails perfectly so it is now welded on awaiting clean up grinding and paint. The kickstand also got shortened about 5 or 6 inches so it is now useable about time carrying a piece of a 2x4 in my pocket sucked.I also rebuilt the front forks as they were leaking around the seals and added shock oil aka castrol gtx 5w30 bout a half a Dr pepper can full is about right or so it feels anyway. When I started on the ammo can lid I still wanted to use the car plate somewhere so I used it as a splash guard for the battery and electronics. Here are some poser shots and one of me on the bike for size comparison I'm 5'11 and about 215 and it fits me like a glove.Hope you guys enjoy I am having a blast.

Well today I was planning on doing the grinding then paint then the pinstriper wanted it at his shop to plan out my work I want done.So I wire brushed it and satin blacked it and away we went. After I got back I tried to start it and it was dead my cig lighter had shorted out so I cut it off and added the bar ends below.Only other thing I got done was painting the timing cover.Next up is prepping it for more satin black and smoothing the tank for stripe work.I will resume work on it in the next few days thanks for the intrest.

I got the bike out today and rode it quite abit and just had to see if it would throw rubber everywhere like it use to and yes it does there was even some on the tank in front of me.The fender is worthless except to keep me off the tire.
I smell smoke!!!

Welp I finaly got it painted and finished up new rear tire and all and took it to our local bike rally and proceeded to drill the sob in the ground the strange thing is it runs better now then it ever has.I wasnt expecting them to have a rat class but they did and I actually won 1st. It was then off to the burnout box where the new rear tire was sent to a smokey death. I am trying to get the video if I do I will upload it it is insane 6 minutes of 5th gear wide open and it popped. I still have a ringing in my ears (I am pretty sure its not from the moonshine either) and just incase you didnt know what a innertube would do at over a hundred against a persons back look at the last pic and I was wearing a shirt but it didnt matter and yes it hurts.

I worked on it a tad more today I removed the flat bar fender stays and welded in chain links for the rear fender mounts.I also have the new freebie dunlop on the rear now I need a new battery and finish the new battery cover and its ready for summer.More pics and a video or two on the way as soon as she's under her own power again.
