All right, I thought I'd play and show ya the kids. I'm gonna break the rules and show ya two of my bikes. That way, one doesn't get jealous... and ya'll know what I mean. Most of ya'll have seen them before but whatever. They are not show bikes with pretty, sparkly paint jobs and they don't always get the looks or attention and will probably get pushed back several pages pretty quick. They're just bikes... but they're mine. They are meant for riding and that's what they do... no more, no less.

The first one:

This is how she looked like for the past couple of years.

Other mods, accessories, cool parts, etc: CrownMotorz bars, Front St. Cycle Fender, square stock sissy bar, blah, blah, blah...

Any riding story or info you'd like to include: I've been told/asked twice... TWICE, if it was a Panhead!! REALLY?!?!?!

Thanks to: Big shout out the the whole VC in the Devil's Playground for all the help, parts, beers and fun!!!

To be honest with you, they're super comfy!!! I had 3 inch springs before and I just felt "disconnected" to the bike. With the reaction balls I get just enough cush and more seat control.

They may be goofy to some but they work and people freak out how comfy it is when they sit on it. The curve of the seat pan and the reaction balls are a perfect combo.

Both bikes look sick. I love CB750's. For the sake of a little difference, I'm fucking with a 750 Hondamatic I bought off this old dude who drove it one handed (had a hook) ..It's going to be wicked. I like both bikes, but the first one with the Comstars is especially killer. They don't have to look clean to look GOOD. I appreciate the dirtier bikes.

Did you have to buy the 'late mount' (non-spigot) drag pipes for the 78?

Hey War, they are actually spigot'd pipes on the 78'.

How's the matic coming along?

Thanks Mad. Yeah, went out in the garage and took the exhaust off -- non-spigot style. This Matic has some funky, stupid design choices. I'm lucky that a lot of parts are compatible, but have hit a few snags. Just ordered a set of the Drags in Satin Black from Cycle X. Should be rad.

The Matic's getting new rubber and some powder coated parts put on at the moment.. Can't wait to get this POS back and actually ride it. Love your bikes.

Funny, I was just thinking yesterday that an ammo pouch would be pretty cool to put some where, but I couldn't think where to put it. I guess you just answered that. Now I have to think of someplace else! Nice job.

I've had that pouch for years and ran it down by my axle plate before. Now that my tail light is on the sissy bar it was a no brainer to put the pouch up there to cover the back side of it.

I have some brand new Kuwaiti ammo pouches I liberated from the Iraqis in the original, old school, Gulf War. I need to find a cool use for those....

The 70 is sick as fuck. I also really dig the handlebars and wassell tank on the 78. Jealous of the C&G frame and scorpion seat. killer bikes man.
