Whats up guys getting ready to rewire my bike.. Its a 80 xs650 with factory TCI.. I ordered the pamco kit from Mikesxs, just wondering what I keep from my factory wiring and ignition? Im only running the ignition, headlight, and taillight. anyone have a diagram maybe?

i used the pamco too, simple and easy to use. had one problem with it though, the little magnets fell out on it once. i just used a punch and pinched them in. on the wiring part i wired my bike up myself with a sparks alt. i only run what you want to so it might be easier for you to ditch the harness and start from scratch.

yeah you still need to use one, i cant remember which one to use for what year. the rec i use came with my sparx system. try one of the xs650 forums i know its on there. anything engine, carb, electical that you need is on them.

each place is very useful and very helpful.

Rectifier is for the charging system. Should only need 3 wires to run that system. Hot, Ground, and Signal (green)

Mike, you'll need to keep the finned regulator. You can wire it directly to the alternator, and you'll need a ground, and a switched source going to the brown wire if I remember correctly.
