What is the smallest petcock you can think up for a pre 03 or valve that will work or something I need the room on the motor mount to squeeze my starter button in the same space. thanks in advance fellas

im trying to find one that is a smaller version or a more compact version. one that takes up less space.

+1 on the inline valve. I ran into the same problem, I think Pingel makes some low profile ones, but wasn't cheap if I recall.

I had the same issue. The best solution for me was to run a 90 degree insert with a barb. Then slap on a cheap inline fuel shutoff valve. just remember, you will have no option for reserve with something like that. If you have to have reserve, go the pingel route but be prepared to shell out some $

Just ordered a Golan. 1 3/8" from the top of the no the bottom of the whole thing. Jireh sells em on eBay for 95 with free shipping.

i was thinking of going that way, just a simple 90degree elbow. do you guys happen to know the thread size on the pet bung?

I did something similar. I took a fitting of a air ratchet. Who knew. Same pitch and count I needed. Just might work if you're in a hurry.
