I started a beer group that I will be reviewing different beers and such - come on over if your interested http://www.chopcult.com/group/71/&v=discussions good place for beer geeks and such...

02-18-2010, 9:40 AM
I'll always join in on some good beer talk. Good idea.

02-18-2010, 9:56 AM
I've already joined the group. Really cool idea. There are a bunch of us out there that drink beer all the time, but I also think that there are quite a fewof us that enjoy the nuances and subtleties of a well crafted beer. Myself, I'm into very hoppy ales, medium body and full flavor. I can't wait. And I live over off of N. General Kearny and have never stopped by for a beer. Inconceivable! And you sir, are always welcome at my place for one.

02-18-2010, 7:55 PM
This is going to be one of my top check places on the cult. Kick ass idea.

02-18-2010, 9:39 PM
Thanks guys,
I hope you enjoy, it should be a good time...

If anyone has a beer that they would like to review send it on over to me and Ill do it. In return I will send you some small beer paraphernalia.

02-19-2010, 12:19 AM
Beer is good food, Lord knows I like it. This is still going in the JP since it's not really moto related.

can you mail beer?

02-19-2010, 7:26 PM
does bud light count as beer? i just love that stuff.

02-19-2010, 7:58 PM
Bud Light is a liquefied piss stain on carpet covered with puke...
But i am going to do a review on it - soon!

02-19-2010, 8:04 PM
Franziskaner Hefeweiss or Dunkel with some Coca Cola on top. Called Cola-Weizen, drank the piss out of it while living in Germany for few years. U gotta try it if u haven't TemeculaTerry.

Ummmm, I think you just did.

02-19-2010, 9:31 PM
I am going to join Terry... because beer is the reason why i have become the mucho man I am.... Your beer is very good beer... if I had your beer i would boil mine away.

02-19-2010, 11:06 PM
I love most all IPA's and double IPA's. But am on a beer diet right now and have been taste testing the different rum's with diet coke. So far my favorite that Terry told me to try is Sailor Jerry! Holy shit that stuff is evil. You can't even taste it in the coke like the Captain. So if you can't see your toes or willy after sooooooo much beer give the SJ and diet coke a shot. It's working for me!

02-19-2010, 11:40 PM
Chopped, I call that drink the Skinny Pirate, and enjoy one now and then!

Mix up some Jim Beam and Diet Coke for a Slim Jim.

02-21-2010, 4:57 AM
I don't think anything with "light" or "lce" in the name counts as beer. my fav would be Allgouer (spelling?) Cambonator. dark and delicious. next would be Weltenburger. also dark and delicious. for general store bought beer anything from Widmer brothers is good. recomend trying their Drifter ale.

02-21-2010, 12:06 PM
not that anyone here could get any of it...but my scro-inlaw makes his own beer that is outstanding! he has his Balls Dickington wheat, St.Evils hazel fury (this is the best hazelnut brown ale in existance), can't remember what he calls his chocolate stout. ill get back to you on that.

02-21-2010, 1:03 PM
are you tryin to convince me that Milwaukess best ice isnt beer?

02-21-2010, 3:34 PM
Moylan's Kilt Lifter is a heavy Scotch Ale that is tasty as fuck. I'd definitely recommend it if you can get your hands on it. The local liquor store has been mostly miss. Only place I've found it regularly is Old Town Liquor in Temecula. Rick the owner is a good guy and won't steer you wrong.

Growlers of the Shed can get a man thru winter

02-21-2010, 4:55 PM
I remembered! Hershey Squirt Chocolate Stout!

New Review - chk it

02-22-2010, 9:30 PM
being in the military for 8 yrs I traveled all over the world. I think the best beer I tasted was 1878 from germany and tuborg when I was in turkey.

02-23-2010, 12:39 AM
I drank some LoneStar Light tonight at the Continental Club. It kinda tasted like PBR!

02-24-2010, 8:43 PM
Black Label!

02-26-2010, 1:36 AM
I would like to see a review of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I drank there when they were small. Bought unlabeled six packs and loved it. It grew, I still loved it. Now, I think they have used inferior product and have lost the "craft" of beer to make money. Similar to a band selling out for the money...can't blame them, but need a replacement. And that makes me sad. Really, a wonderful part of my life gone just to sell more beer to the masses.

02-26-2010, 6:39 AM
Ill do that H8ter - Next week, this week will be a Newcastle - Check the blog homie.

They actually have taken extra steps in the last few years to keep their integrity of the beer.
I have been on two separate VIP trips up to Chico and all that I can say is that they are good people who care about their beer - quite a bit, even to go as far to grow their own hops in order to keep their seasonals consistent.

BEER ON SUNDAY - come over...

BEER ON SUNDAY - come over...

I just might do that! PM me you address, I have no clue where you are.

02-26-2010, 11:19 PM
I love beer! Heavy beer, Light beer, Dark beer, Amber beer, Draught beer, Bottled beer, Canned beer, Cheap beer, Expensive beer. I just fuckin love beer!

If anyone hasn't tried it, check out some of the Bad Elf beers.

Probably my favorite winter beer. The regular old Bad Elf is my favorite of the bunch. Keeps you warm.

02-26-2010, 11:51 PM
Terry... long beach on Sunday.... no beer :(

02-27-2010, 12:31 AM

02-27-2010, 9:43 PM

The Shed's Mountain Ale in the Growler - a truely life affirming beer experience

Got to love me some Wolaver's, OtterCreek and Dogfish though PBR and Schlitz tallboys still rule my roost

03-07-2010, 3:19 PM
Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA is amazing. $10 for a 4 pack is more expensive than most beers, but it's 9% by volume so it packs a punch. This is quite possibly my favorite IPA. Much better than Stone's IPA

03-07-2010, 6:51 PM
Just stopped into the Eel River Brewery in Fortuna, Cali a few weeks ago on the way down to San Francisco. They had the most amazing food and organic beers. Will be stopping there many more times.

03-07-2010, 7:09 PM
All beer has food value... But not all food has beer value...

03-09-2010, 6:58 PM
Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA = Heaven To me stone IPA sucks. Not a personal favorite, and given the choice I'd drink PBR over it.

03-09-2010, 7:03 PM
Couple more. Recently had Hangar 24's Orange Wheat beer. Pretty good, though I'm not a huge wheat beer fan it goes down much better than Blue Moon, and most other Hef's.

Other is Rogue's Dead Guy Ale. Got it for Christmas gift. Perfect fresh out of the snow drift

03-09-2010, 11:10 PM
Throw this stuff up on the beer boot forum homie - lol

Love that 90 minute, yeh I agree, stone is not too good compared..

03-12-2010, 11:37 PM
I must drink beers this weekend. I am super fat and will be going on a diet MONDAY. This is my last weekend for beer drinking and burger/taco/pizza eating (for a while). I have some crap beer in the fridge and I bought some Long Hammer IPA tonight (it's all they had). I've never tried it, but I will tomorrow as the wife and kids are gone most of the day...

03-13-2010, 1:22 AM
Well, Long Hammer = Shit...

Good News, Ill be in the garage tomorrow after 3:00p and you are more than welcome to come over for some Big Eye IPA all you can drink fest...

03-13-2010, 8:59 AM
Hey, the invvite is for anyone else as well - come on over after 3, pm for directions.

03-13-2010, 10:52 AM

I am convinced that Sierra Nevada "Torpedo" is the original recipe for Sierra Nevada "Pale Ale".

I ain't playing.

04-12-2010, 10:02 PM
Torpedo is definitely not the original Pale, but if it makes you feel better its a harmless belief so go for it...

Anchor Steam....

04-12-2010, 10:22 PM
Gotta say , sierra nevada brews are much better directly from their tap room. If you ever find yourself in chico , the beers great , the foods awesome & their tour of the brewery is pretty cool........

04-13-2010, 5:31 AM
If you can get some. Old Leg Humpers beer is pretty good but man is that stuff hard! A six pack will put most folks under the table.

04-13-2010, 10:56 AM
man I aint had an anchorsteam in forever - dunno why - damn fine whistlwetter right there - im thirsty

04-13-2010, 1:57 PM
Boulevard Brewery in my hometown, KCMO (that's Missouri for all of you who think Kansas City is in Kansas).
The Single Wide IPA is delicious and their Pale Ale is a good every day drinker.
