Any recommendations on replacement batteries for HD other than the stealership? Looking for a good battery, don't want to spend $130 from the dealership!

This is the seller I use; The ones I've bought arrive in under 4 days and is a great quality AGM type. I've got one going on three years strong and counting; many companies relabel the brand with their own name and mark them up...

Example from the seller:

Walmart.........for their awesome return policy.

And if you run kick only......you can buy the cheapest battery they sell.

Google "Deka Batteries" and find your local distributor. Most will sell to the general public. Deka manufactures batteries for HD. Honestly depending on your model and location some times the batteries just wont last. The hotter the climate the quicker the battery goes. For some reason the late model Sportys go through batteries. I have had a shop for 9 years...in Florida and Michigan...batteries last longer up north. You can also invest in a tender...it tricks the battery into thinking that it is being used all the time instead of sitting and being depleted. I would stay as far away as I could from batteries from Walmart and Batteries plus. Even though they look the same they aren't. I agree that the dealer charges a ton for their batteries but Deka uses the highest quality materials for the HD batteries. Another low cost alternative is the AGM batteries from Auto Zone. Good luck

Put a Lithium Ion cel in my Triumph, it weighs less than 6 lbs and has 500 CCA to -30. Fucking awesome, and cold winter starts on my 2.3liter motor are WAY easier.

I'm running one of those Antigravity ones. Pricey but they weigh next to nothing.

I seem to catch a lot of flack for recommending Interstate to people but mine lasted 6 years, and my napa lasted 4 months. It was fairly inexpensive too
