Anybody ever use this and the mounting kit on a paughco or i guess any single tube frame? Im looking for a classic looking horseshoe oil bag for my ironhead build and this seems like it would work well. Anyone got pictures or specs, or even alternatives? I need something around 9 or 10 inches wide

I used one on my 86 evo sporty in a paughco frame. It looked great once it was shimmed to match lines of the frame. Here's a pic of the complete bikehttp://www.chopcult.com/forum/showpost.php?p=258357&postcount=13

Had bunches of them, will be a tight fit at all on a sporty.
I never ever buy from JP, never.

Don't know what bracket it's talking about. Mine came with 2 strips across the back with threaded holes, and 2 tabs to weld to the frame. I have this on a 72 frame (still has swingarm). I can shoot you some pics tomorrow and or measurements tomorrow if that's what your looking for. As for ordering one, call Mike at OldSTF. That's who got me mine. Paughco isn't far from them so he can usually get it in a couple days.

The "mounting kit" posted on the listing is a set of oil lines with elbows. If you are building a bike, you should be able to make up a mounting bracket on your own. PM me your email and I'll shoot you pics tomorrow when I get back in town so you can see how it mounts.
