Any of you japper guys know if nissin makes a rear brake master cylinder with a 5/8 or 3/4 bore? If so, what bike would I find one on?

Man, I'd love to find a 3/4" bore FRONT master to run a pair of Nissins or Tokicos on my '74 IH.
Did they ever make one that large?
Or can a 5/8-incher provide enough pressure for a dual-caliper set-up?

1st of all the Japs run metrics so You will not find a "5/8 or 3/4" However... You can find one close
in size & make it work.

I am running a 17mm unit off of an '09 GSXR (Front) & using it for the Rear. of course using a front
brake M.C. on a rear brake is somewhat bizarre, but after some fabricating of brackets I made it work.

You can lurk around in the jap forums or search Ebay under master cylinders to get specs...... Just find a rear master cylinder with around 17mm bore & that will put you in the park. It comes out to slightly larger than 5/8"

I'm assuming that the conversion you gave was in millimeters? Now I just have to get a fix on what bike would have a 15 or 17 mm bore REAR mc.

Brembo makes some; 15mm there's a 17mm lever one on this page too http://www.cyclebrakes.com/html/brembo_cylinders_4.html#R50 you should be able to ebay one of those models up for cheaper...since they list the bikes they fit there.
