I've been offered a trade and I'm looking for feedback on this. The first bike is a 74 cb750 chop, runs and looks good. The next is an 83 xlx-61 ironhead, which also runs and has paperwork to some work thats been done on it. Both have clean titles and trade for my 79 matching numbers shovel, which is clean and unmolested. What do ya think? Good trade? I'm not much of a cb man although I recognize they have a following as other bikes do, (I am a xs650, shovel, evo owner):cheersmate:

I personally wouldn't, but thats just me. I think that CB is cheesy looking, and the other bike is just a project as far as I see it...I would keep the shovel.

I'm gonna go against the grain and say take it. You have 2 complete bikes that you could either chop or sell. together they might be worth a bit more than the Shovel. What does it look like?

If it's the shovel in your pic I would do it. You can't lose either way though! I just think 2 bikes are always rad to have!

I'd keep the shovel. But I love shovelheads.

Most peeps sell the jap shit and the chick bike to get a shovel. Dont be blinded by two for one. Unless you have some new found way of riding 2 bikes at once?? either way its a loss

Nope. Wouldn't trade my Shovel for those two even if the deal included two more that looked just like them!

keep the shovel, the cb is worth about 3grand tops and the sportster is less if it needs work, and they all need work.

The shovel is worth more cash value than both of the others. If you wanted an ironhead you get those sheap enough and build what you want.
