Im usually a bobber guy never touching the motor, decided to do a near ground up build, putting in a 2 cylinder kubota diesel, lots of vibration and hoppyness. Im new to a full ground up build, what do i need to be aware of?
Such as how to center or balance motor or anything of that nature?

Good luck.

Kinda figured he was, i may not be using a harley, honda or bmw motor, but i just wanted to try something different, ive ridden harleys, hondas, suzukis, and want to try the power of a turbo diesel on 2 wheels.

lol that's rad, needed some humor...as long as you can secure it in the cradle, the rest is good. The hardest part; is doing it where the drive is lined up and square to drive the rear wheel. Don't expect that thing to be a speed demon off the line, or get up to cruising speed quickly, but you'll have torque out the ass.

If this is a gas mileage thing...many bikes push over 50mpg Rebels push over 70mpg some early models over 100mpg. If it's for pulling tree stumps then you're on the right track.

Its not a gas milage thing, its a fun stump puller, something really loud and fun to look at, hopefully dump some black smoke on a prius at some point, thanks though
