Well I wanted to see what I could do with the new english wheel ( my first time ever using one)...I have a idea for a oil tank made like a original Triumph tank this would be the front piece.... Going for a Triumph timing cover shape either way 1 1/2 hours later this is what I got ... I think it would work better for a smurf shield but hell it goes the way it goes...more aless was just wanting to see what I could do ...

I never measured just eye balled the begining shape and cut it out with a pair of hand snips and started pounding it with different things like body blocks and such then ran it through the wheel over and over working it in to shape ....

Either a smurf shield or a sports cup!!! Looks great for a first try though. Maybe a future seat pan?? Fender?

Looks like you're on the right track! Whatever you do... don't get a couple beers in you and start 'fiddling around' with the EW. Thumbs are difficult to rebuild.
