Anyone know if the honda S90 circa 1969 would have come stock with mirrors and signals? Or would it have been an option?

like one of these?? 1969 Honda SL90

***not mine just found on the interwebs***
http://world.honda.com/collection-hall/2r/images/photo/benlysl90_1969.jpg

both are shown on the microfiche with normal parts (ie. Handlebars, levers, etc) and Honda usually had a seperate slide or card for optional parts. I'd say they came standard.

Check out http://www.hdlparts.com to browse the microfiche. If the number from the image is not listed in the parts list, it is no longer available.

A good site for your ol'school little Hondas is dratv.com-they got parts for c90, c110, passports, and zingers. They have damn good prices and a wealth of info on the honda cdi motors-stroke that joker.

That's not a stock seat, but any upholstrey shop should be able to add some foam and make you a new seat cover for that cafe racer look.

This is a stock s90.
Just a picture from the net, so I don't know about turn signals. There's a big following in the old hodas, and there are several forums just for these, I would try to find one and search or post up there. Hope this helps.

They would have came with mirrors, but turn signals were an option. I think it was 1970 or '71 when Honda started putting turn signals on most of their bikes. Laws varied state by state here in the US. Turn signals weren't required here in Wisconsin on bikes made before '75.

If you are going to get it saftey inspected they most likely direct you to canadian tire.
ICBC doesn't inspect bikes much anymore.
Canadian tire is a joke. Just tell em in 69 they didn't come with signals.
Throw a mirror on for good measure though. Take the bitch off when you are through

Also forgot to mention that under ICBC law as well what the bike came with new is what is required, although they will sweat you on the mirror because its something that can be added in easily enough.
But things like open pipes like some old brits ran are fine and will get you past the noise bylaws we have.
And if turn signals weren't stock you will be fine, if they question it, bring your research and they will be left flat...

My dad's bone stock c90 doesn't have signals, and he bought it brand new in 69
