Just got in town from the Midwest. Trying to meet some legit people to ride/ wrench with. I'm fortunate enough to score a garage at my new place, but I don't know one thing about what shops to buy stuff from or best places to ride. So what's crap'nin?

Oh yeah a little list of what you can and cannot get away with around here would be helpful as well. I came from a town where you can pretty much do what you want with your bike and unless they mistake you for someone and feel like flexing their big bad badge you never get hassled.

Get in on The Escape to Hazard County run in a few weeks. Its under the events section. Other than that, we're prolly riding this weekend if youre free.

Welcome dude. I'm in Culver, give me a ring if you wanna know some of the local spots to pick up your 2 wheel fix.

Welcome. I'm in Venice as well, and you can pretty much do what you want around here, just don't ride like a dick. I've never been hassled, but I've seen the douchetard bro-hawk helmet sport bike gangers pulled over on the weekends heading to and from the beach quite often.

You just dropped into the vortex of the chopper world. Most loath or envy Southern California for it's sheer number of weekly happenings, usually you'll have choices to make each and every weekend on where you wanna go / which event you want to attend / or try and race around town and make them all (if you got the time and ching to do so). The local events are most often listed on the Lady Hump (South Bay / Los Angeles).

Thanks for the warm welcome. To those I've already had the chance to meet up with, thanks for showing me around town.
Unfortunately Im too late for the hazard county run, but are any of you goin to SoCal swap meet this weekend?
