Could be a Columbus. They used aluminum plate with pinch bolts for the trees.

thats not a columbus, they didnt use hollow tubing pinched at the bottom, always soilid steel legs. i have never seen one with aluminum trees either. pick up any early 70s rag and youll see there where hundreds of people making springers.

I have 2 Columbus springers and they both have aluminum trees, but neither of them have hollow tube legs that are pinched at the bottom. They have solid stainless legs with machined ends but I'm not a Columbus expert so I cannot tell you those are or are not Columbus legs. The trees & rockers on that springer look like CCM but the rest doesn't. Maybe someone modified it they way they needed.

They're ok. Just ok. I don't have any trouble with them but there are definitely better springers out there.

I've had a bunch of Columbus springers and all but 1 had aluminum trees. They did all have solid legs but that's either a Columbus, or a knock off. A few I've had were stamped, any markings on this one? They're pretty heavy duty but can flex and not go together right since they aren't welded.

That is the same exact springer that I had on this bike. I rebushed it with some sintered bronze bushings and it rode like a dream. I could take this down the highway doing 70 and take my hand off the bars.
Let me know if you ever want to part with it.
