Hi everybody,

I did some work on my carbs. First I tore them completely apart, then the whole stuff was ultrasonic cleaned. Next I painted the housings in flat black, cleaned and sanded all bare metal parts for the rough look I wanted and reassembled the carbs with new carburator rebuilt kits.

I used brass screws and did some other brass-work. Hope, you will like it.

Thanks folks,

the brace plate and the maltese crosses are handmade, i only used a metalsaw and different files. Now I am working on the motor, there will be some brass work too...

Nice before and after pics! What kind of ultrasonic cleaner do you have?

I don't have an ultrasonic cleaner. I gave the parts to a buddy, who has one at his motorcycle-shop.
