View Full Version : Mix n Match Front end

Hi, I am currently rebuilding a 63 triumph with a 71 tls front end on it. I am trying to find a way to clean up the top tree and like the look of something like mullins trees or CCE narrow glide trees, but would like to keep the tls wheel.

I figured I can use a bearing conversion kit to fit the trees to the frame but im stuck on wether I can fit the triumph running gear to the trees. eg fork tubes, lowers and wheel. does anyone know the width of my 71 front end vs mullins trees vs a stock narrow glide? or even if this will work?

I would like to use as many of the triumph bits as i can and buying a whole narrow glide front end is out of the question as im in australia (perth) and a front end here is just too much coin to drop, and shipping one from overseas will cost about 300 dollars. If im going to drop that coin I would prefer it was on something like some mullins trees!

Thanks Colin
