Here are a few pics of my 68 Bonneville. I've been working on it collecting parts on it for awhile. Should be done by spring if all goes well.

I've never been to crazy about modern springers but combined with the low profile of the stock tank it looks really bitchin!

I like it better with the TT pipes and the stock tank, but I like it anyway.

I like the last pics the best with the asymmetrical pipes and the high mount tank. Both versions are rad in my opinion but as long as your building a bike with a springer and a hardtail why not ditch the stock tank as well and use that 666 tank. I like the vacant space at the top of the frame the high mount tanks make.

Im pretty sure I have that exact same springer. Any idea on who made it?

I also vote for that 666 tank. It looks way better.

Thanks Mike. Its not a modern springer though. Its a old vintage narrow springer that has been rechromed and shortened.

I say keep the stock tank. i think that gold/brown color looks really good, as well as the tank badges.

I see why you might be struggling to make a decision on which route to take with the tank and pipe options, but I really dont think you can go wrong either way. That front end rules! Ive always love stock Trump taks, bt I gotta say - the little Frisco option is killer.

The Triumph tank suits the bike better than Satan's friscoed tank does.

Those pipes look sweet along with the rest of the bike. Are you going to ride it up the stairs to get it out of the basement?

That looks utterly gorgeous. Simple and uncluttered, like a Triumph should.

Thanks for the responses. Im using the slimline tank and high pipes. Yeah I had to take it apart to get it out of the basement to take to my dads shop. Hes making some spacers for me and welding some tabs/mounts for me. Im trying to finish it completely by may 30th so I can ride it to the flattrrack races in Springfield, IL.
