you're kidding right?

now that i look like a jack ass...but as far as i know... the triumph 500s didn't use gaskets on the inner and outer trans covers.

check and see where its coming from.

if thats all your leaking, i wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

I was told triumphs perform their own oil change!

if youre riding triumphs get use to the leaks.if you can find an extra thick primary gasket like the 600 that might help.i havent found one for a 500 yet .that leak doesnt look bad. when you change it glue it to the outer cover and use a little grease on the case side.

HEH, that is NOT an oil leak, when after 12 hours of sitting you have 1/2 a quart on the floor, then you have a leak !

*yeah and as far as "extra thick gaskets" go (at least in the case of the bastard Triple) is a no no, it will throw the clutch out of adjustment. Even a 1/16" difference will play hell when trying to adjust the clutch. You twin owners have it easy !

When they start to leak in front of you it's a sign of trust :)
