i bought a bike and it came with a truck load of old chopper parts. this springer is one of those parts, it has no brand marking on it and im not sure how old it is or who made it. so im asking all you if you have any idea who made this, when approx it was made, and how much its worth today. thanks

Its hard to tell with out seeing the rockers. The rockers can more or less narrow it down to a few brands.

Im no springer expert, but I think its a Fury Springer with the rockers upside down. Here's a pic from the JJ

That's not a Fury. I'm thinking Smith Bros and Fetrow. They had 4 styles of rockers, and you could get the front rails in round, square, diamond, or twisted in 2 different diameters, and rear rails in everything but twisted.

I'd rock that on my bike. That springer is super sweet. I can't afford it though, so I'll probably just build my own.

I think the old choppers are sweet but its just not my style, i would run a springer if it was like 2'' under, im more of a bobber guy than choppers, but you never know i might run them someday. hey aaronc, does your front wheel want to wabble ever on highway . i ve heard that and its a reason i prollly wouldnt run huge forks on my bike.

No high speed wobbles at all and I do alot of highway miles, rides great.I did make some modifications to the rockers thou. At slow speed she is a floppy fucker.

It's not a Fury. At first I thought it might be an AMEN (similar rockers), but I agree with Speed and Noise, it is a Smith Bros and Fetrow. Rockers look right and they did offer a choice of different front and rear legs.

There's a springer ID thread on JJ

i put them on craigslist for 300 is this a fair price or should i be asking more for them, i need a new front end for one of my bikes one of the tubes on the forks i was going to use is completely seized up and i cant get it unstuck so im selling this springer to get another front end.

It's not an SBF either, the rockers don't resemble any of the SBF ones. The mystery continues... Can you get a decent side shot of the rockers?

Its possible Smith Bros but it does look to have the wrong rockers and spring tops. Not uncommon with guys trying to make stuff work with smaller wheels or when bushings would wear out the rockers.
Thart said if you dont have the top clamp or neck hardware I would say 200-300 as long as it is straight.
The hardware in the rockers are wrong and the fact the rocker axle is welded means replacement needed. Now you may say its worth more or less. Really it is worth what someone will pay or what they may have in their parts bins to complete it.
I love old springers always have always will. Your best bet is Ebay it as ebay dictates its value.
