i ran in to a guy who just happen to have this bike and a truck load of parts from the 80s and 70s that people would kill for, and only wanted 1200 for it all since he hadnt touched any of it since he went to the pin almost 2 decades ago.
you can see my other bonnie in this pic too. they look good together

Good score.

But what the fuck tank is on that triumph?!?!??!

Actually, that was rhetorical. I know where that tank comes from. How the eff did it get on a triumph?!?!?

not sure but the first thing i did was took it off, it came with a sporty tank, so thats whats going on it. i took the top end apart and did some cleaning then put the motor back together. im disassembling the bike down to the frame to do some minor fab work and get the god awful purple paint sandblasted off.

i started taking the forks off so i could sand blast the frame and one of the fork tubes is completely seized up, ive tried beating on it with a block of wood, i put it in a vice to see if i could get the tube to spin any, i even put alittle heat on it and nothing has worked. Is there a trick to getting a stuck fork tube unstuck or am i SOL.
