Looked like a cool time, did you camp all weekend? We gotta keep the Calendar up to date with all the New England happenins!!

Josh - you have a close up shot of your sissy bar mount?
I need to throw something together for the gypsy and that's giving me some inspiration.

Looks like a cool time, would have loved to have gone up.

not immediately no, but i'm just using the last two mounting holes on the struts, nothing special.

Special thanks to Josh for being our pit crew and team historian all weekend! Josh is welcome in our pits anytime!

Loring was an amazing time, lots of personal records were beat that weekend for just about everyone. Since it was the first meet at Loring all runs technically where record runs so that was the time to go for the slow guys to get into the history books, hahaha.

We now can say (unofficially of course since the FIM wasnt involved) that we have the world's fastest BSA twin at 154mph, that is the equivalent to the squids on sport bikes saying they went 170mph as all modern motorcycles have a speedo inaccuracy of about 8-15%. During the weekend we made MANY jetting changes and blew up/shredded two Newbie primary belts. Both belts broke near the timing traps, the first a few hundred feet from the traps, and the second right before the traps. If we would have had a healthy primary setup I have no doubt in my mind we would have gone over 160mph as we had just over 1k rpm left in our powerband.

Tom's all motor, naturally aspirated hornet went 122mph, up from 112 from the last Maxton LSR event.

Picture of the first exploded belt,

We also got to witness north america's fastest run in an open wheel motorcycle this weekend at 260.9 mph, and on the monday after the meet there was a few private runs happening and the same bike went 267mph, that bested all previous open wheel motorcycle records at ANY venue and was the worlds fastest run.
