Anyone have any experience with the jet kit Lick's is selling? For 60 bucks it's very appealing but at the same time I'm a bit skeptical of the "one size fits all" approach. I have a high flow air filter and some slip on mufflers and the bike (98 sporty) runs decent but could definitely run better. I plan on changing out my exhaust with something with even less back pressure so I'd really interested in this jet kit. It just seems to easy to be true. Any opinions? Here's the link

You could save yourself a lot of dough just ordering like a 45 slow jet through http://www.jetsrus.com/

You may or may not have to bump up the main jet. Im running some drags with lollipops and a moon eyes air cleaner and i just went to a 45 slow and about 2 1/2 turns out on the mixture screw

Thanks for the advice, if that works I'll just go down that route. The reason the jet kit was so appealing was how plug and play it looked. I had to re jet my old 4 carb gs last summer and it made me not want to even think about carbs ever again.

Don't buy a kit. I just went to the local HD & paid something like $4/ea for a 45 slow & 175 main jet. Running drags & a 4" a/c similar to the mooneyes one.
