Just wanted to post some pictures of my first Bike project and wanted to get some feedback on how it is looking. It started out as a serious basket case and as most porjects has gotten out of hand. Dont know much about bike building but I am learning alot and bullshitting my way through the rest.

I dig it man. I like the cole foster tank on there (if thats what it is) follows the backbone of the frame well. Keep posting pics as it progresses.

Nice job! I like the stance, low and badass!

It is a Cheap knockoff version of Cole Foster tank. I am trying to get a better tunnel in it so it fits the bike better. Thanks for the input. First bike project and this shit is like Crack.

who made, or what kind of hardtail is that

12-16-2009, 7:04 AM
The hardtail is a David Byrd from LowBrow. I wish I didnt get the loop frame but oh well it looks good enough.

12-16-2009, 9:39 AM
Hey there Snick what kind of tank is that you are running on your bike? I like the look of that tank alot.

12-19-2009, 11:35 PM
i thought that was a lowbrow tail, im thinking about getting one for my oif, what stretch and drop did you get on it>

Lookin' good..

Can I have the sedan body?

12-23-2009, 6:43 AM
The rusted color sedan body was sold on Ebay t help fund the bike and my buddies green sedan. And the rear hardtail is from Low Brow but its a David Bird hardtail. I ordered a 4 inch stretch with a 2.5 inch drop.

you said the tank is a cole foster knockoff, where did you get it and what brand

12-24-2009, 8:35 PM
I got it off Ebay if you look at Cole Fosters tanks the back end has a half circle tunnel in it to fit the frame better. These dont. I cut and installed a new tunnel in mine to fit the bike better. You can see in these pictures it will look better this way.

looks good, might have to pick myself up one of those tanks

12-28-2009, 11:29 PM
Dude looks bad ass. You think you started with a basket case. You should see what I started with but I love ever minute of working on it.

Does anybody know anybody close to Washington D.C. that would be interested in wiring and fine tuning my bike when I get it done?

03-22-2010, 1:14 AM
what type of front end are you running , it looks clean. for your first bike build, your doing an awesome job bro.

03-23-2010, 10:39 PM
Hey I appreciate it I am trying to get it together. The front end is a newer Sportster fron end that I got from Pete Dalton. My brother in law machined a new front axle to fit the Triumph front wheel. He also machined a tab out of aluminum and tigged to the fork tube so I dont have to run a bracket from the front backing plate to the fork. More cleaner in my opinion.
