Here's another project over here at ACME Choppers. It's a custom weld on hard tail for a customers T120 frame.

Prior to mounting the frame in our jig we had to cut out the seat post mount/rear triangle mount. The front motor mounts had to be cut as well due to being bent.

Here's the frame stripped down in the jig ready for some fabrication.

Here's a shot of Wayne figuring some dimensions for the hard tail fabrication.

The rear lower legs of the hard tail are made using 1-1/8" tubing. Check them out here after bending as well as the custom made lugs we made for a perfect fit with the original frame.

Here's our man Rich fabricating the axle blocks. These will come together nicely for a real clean look with the upper and lower legs of our hard tail.

HA just got done doing the same thing. My bike had the worlds worst bolt on hartail install ever. Figured this was the best way to clean it up, cut, bend, notch, weld, looks way better. Instead of cutting the bottom part of the backbone off I just heated mine up and knocked the bottom mount off and had more to work with. (right, wrong?) No shit implied you guys do awesome work.

keep the photos coming. This story is great for showing the complexity and craftsmanship that goes into stuff like frame construction. Love it!

Yeah, you dudes should take a million pictures of every step of everything you do! Its very inspiring. And by the way your jig and fixtures are about as legit as they come.
