I sold it over the summer, but this was my winter project from last year. I got it for free, put about $200 into in, then traded it to my buddy for a bicycle and a pair of shoes. Anyways, just wanted to share.

Damn! That's a nice change.
That over there is the example that all bikes, even the "uncle John's ride" ones has potential to be a kick ass chopper!

Nice work mate!

Are those side covers metal, or is everything painted silver?

all the tins are raw metal.

I definitely would ride that thing, looks sweet.

It was a fun lil summbitch.

what kind of mufflers are they? do you have a link to where to buy them?

12-04-2009, 11:49 AM
The mufflers are D&Ds made for a Triumph Thruxton. I just cut off the mounts and clamped them on. Emgo makes a set of universal ones that would be similar. Check J&P for them...

Bad ass ride! Especially for what you had invested into it.

I left the front alone, and tossed some 11.5" progressive shocks i had lying around on the rear.

I'm getting pretty good at the cool bike for cheap thing. I'm picking up another freebie on sunday! Stay tuned...
