So here's the skinny. Just bought a 2005 Super Glide and i love it but its bone stock except the last owner added forward controls. After many hours of staring in awe I can't find in my mind's eye the next step in this twin cams evolution. So i'm reaching out to all the creative minds and world wise motorheads in the house. What's the next thing you would do to this american iron?

some lowered dresser shocks for it. They are air ride, so you can add some comfort with a passenger, they are available at 11 1/2" which works fine with TC Dynas. I put a schrader valve on each shock, bypassing the $47 hose and couplers. I had them on my 07 and that bike had the best ride.....available from your Vtwin dealer or your favorite stealership. I'd post a picture, but you can't show the ride quality....

Thanks for all the ideas. Those 2 into 1 pipes are really sweet. I've been thinking about putting some 10" Licks z-bars on but i don't know how that would look with the speedo. Any thoughts?

Regular z bars look weird with a speedo I think Biltwell's Keystones or those curving things Kilby Deuce puts out frame it alot better. Get rid of the stock oil bag/ battery box if you can. those damn things are an eye sore. I would get the progressives that look like the old FLH shocks (fully covered). bob the fender put your sparto on. and get either a solo seat kit or i actually like that banana seat on the silver one above. I kinda like how the sporty eyebrow looks on troubles too. build, stare, shrug your shoulders, tear down repeat. have fun with it.

i already got that same seat as the silver one. i like the covered shock idea and bobbing the fender but does anyone know where i can get some info about ditching the speedo? thats stopping me dead in my tracks. i just can get past it.

Here's a pic of some e-bay "ZZ bars" and the speedo mounted were the brow used to be.

Yeah i converted some prices and couldnt believe it, but their exhaust systems are all titanium which in my opinion is completly useless on any harley
