Short money.
Welds are good.
Frame is straight.
I already have a front end, rear wheel, fenders, controls, levers, oil bag.
I will have a sweet ass rolling frame by the weekend.

Now I just need a powerplant.

I think i wanna go kick. Anyone have any suggestions?

you might run into trouble with johnny law if you're riding a 76xlh frame and you don't have the title to it.. someone out there has the title to that frame/engine

door stop? art deco table?

Previous owner could have kept the title with the motor not knowing any better. As long as it doesn't have a shady past he should be able to get a new title. I can't remember where, but I recently came across re-pop sportie necks with paper work(mso). All assumptions considering Mayty never said whether he got a title or not...

It doesn't have the title. But it doesn't have a shady past. I was planning on going through ITS when I finally get that far.

Wouldn't it be cool if he just got a powerplant with a year where it was titled off the block?

That's not a Shovster, that's an Ironhead with the tranny cut off.

I've got a 1964 Sportster powerplant that I got about a year ago...found a 1974 frame at a swap meet...the DMV said that I could use the powerplant VIN for registration...of course this is New Hampshire...live free or die... I think this is where many of those title companies operate from...

Right, no shovel top end,
pardon my blunder...
Thank You for the correction.

There has got to be a better name then "Ironhead with the tranny cut off".
