ain't got pics of either, but a loud shout out to

Andy Diether

Bill Morris.

Both those fuckers are responsible for my bike lust/addiction. Andy for dirt bikes, and his first midnight special back in the eighties, treasure your good friends, they are rare and special. Sure wish I had a photo of them.

Robby Loebach

Used to run/own Gasoline Alley (yes, long before anyone else used that name) a indy shop in Santa Clarita California back in the late 80's through the late 90's. Taught me just about everything I know about HD's, and 60's muscle cars. He helped me build my first rigid BT Evo chop. Showed me how to do valve jobs, tru flywheels, chop frames, lace wheels etc... he did it all.

In addition he was a patch holder for the Sundowners SFV (retired to fight cancer) a fellow musician, loving father and husband. He kicked it's ass for 5 years but cancer won the last battle in '02.

I still talk to his 3 children and wife occasionally, I miss him more everyday.

RIP Robbie.

RIP my homeboy Johnny K. He and I talked about getting bikes way back when, and riding cross country on them. We were both totally broke, but somehow we were gonna make it happen. Died in '95 of a heroin overdose. Dammit.

My boy Rob was KIA in Iraq in 2007, 27 years old. Best guy I ever knew, no bullshit. He always wanted a Ducati, and someday, I'm going to get one and ride it for him.
