got me a new project a while back. 71 tr6. im going to keep it a swing arm. its going to be nice to ride with rear suspension. here's how it looked when i got it, sweet leaf in the clear coat and all.

the top end was spent. .100 over and scared. but it came with a new cyl.!

stripped it down and lowered the seat rails. started bead blasting and cleaning the motor.

got new fork tubes and lowered the forks. got a new tank and 10.5" shocks

I got the other cyl bored. pistons and rings on the rods. painted the cyl with some 500degree spray bomb. hope that shit holds up. ppppffffff whatever.

Im doing a swingarm bike now too, a first for me. Kinda starting to like them. Keep thinking Id like to see what itd look like with an inch added to arm to set wheel back a hair.

shit let me know were heading down as well. I just got mt cb750 yesterday and breaking it down tommorow to see whats what. I wana have it done by end of Jan. Ive been without a bike for 3 months now and it sucks......

I really dig the stance and that crazy little tank. I think it needs a thin seat in thick tuck and roll with some piping in a color that will compliment whatever color you choose for the tank. Let's see some more progress!!

I just got a little over 2 1/2 acers a little east of you over in north Lakeland ,...HOPEFULLY I'll be back down in a little less then a month..I forgot what the house looks like but the garage is SUPER nice...

I decided to shit can the seat loop. its too wide for that yellow tank. Yeah... more work. Markee is helping me out with his mandrell bender. Not done yet but started

Nice... and there easy to set once you get the hang of it. My capacitor went out a week ago and lost my lights (at night)... Mag always gets you home. What year mag is that?

i got the primary off. sux it cost me almost $30 for the puller that ill never use again.

Will i gota say it kinda depends on what bars your gona use. If you keep the stockers i say run the stock tank. If you get some skinnies from Mark then id say run the yellow one. Hell paint them both and youll have a choice you know kinda like a transformer. Although i really dig the small one after seeing it at KILBY

still have a couple questions about my wiring though. when i hit the brake the headlight dims alot. maybe in half or more. is that normal? my reg/rect is posed to have a cap in it. my lights still dim quite a bit during idle. normal?

all that means is you alternator is not putting out enough power to keep things going. here is a couple of questions.
1. did you replace the magnet wheel?
2. are you running a 65 watt halogen headlight?
3. try switching it to a negative ground and running an LED tail light.

almost done. i think i got the motor work right this time. its not smoking ( for the first time since i got it) and everything seems to be good. im still breaking it in. nice and slow this time, no rush. ill try to get some pics of the finished product soon.

Congrats on that. This bike is neat enuf but also easy to change up ... and back if you want. That is if you don't start cutting! Bolt ons!
