This is what a twenty year old growing up around old bikes and cool people will produce. Its a 68 frame with a bolt on hard-tail. The motors about a 70-71 punched .20. Its got alot of cool chopper stuff that I have collected and saved from egay. Plans for the winter are to tear it all down chrome the frame and get some crazy lsd baby vomit paint job

Love the high pipes. Do you have to take the right one off to get that oil filter out? Wonder if you could find a shorter filter. Looks great!

Good Job, I really like those high pipes - high pipe fan righ here people!
You may want to put some kind of plate on the back side of those pipes so they dont melt that damned oil filter.

Some how my user-name got all messed up and I had to make up a new one. Created a little Artist rendering of the tank. I had 2 but sold the thrashed up one. I think It was met to be on a HD but i had to chop out a section to get it to fit up close on the backbone

little update since I haven't posted in awhile: I got the tins in primer and the aged p-pad mounted. I also scored a nice pair of cast finned motor plates not yet mounted in this pic. With the riding season almost here I have to get in gear and lay down some paint.

I have not updated the build in a while but I found another shot from a while back. I changed out the Aris fog light for a nice pair of real deal Aris cycle lights(not shown in picture). Once the seasons over my plans are to get the black wrinkle paint off the cases, paint or plate the frame and hide and clean up the wiring

Sold the 21" to buy this 17" hallcraft mini drum it had a little tweak in the rim. It should look pretty good on the finch springer.

it can either be up or down depending on where the rod clears with a hardtail

just a thought...
If you decide to go back and revisit the idea of having the frame plated, consider having it nickel plated instead of chromed...

it holds up a lot better on the frame... Just take it from someone who has been down that road a few times

That looks good , I like the twin headlights ..Some bikes look better with a springer , but the way you have yours set up I think that front end looks better... Good Choice - Good Work Man...Send us more pics..

I only see one upswept pipe , is there one on the other side , or is it hidden by something ?? I'm going with upswept fishtails on mine.. But I'm going to have to make them ..
