Does anyone know where i can find fork tube stock lengths? And a place to find them? I'm going to stretch my frame about 4 inches and im going to need new fork tubes obviously. I want to be able to do it all in a weekend, as its my main source of transportation.

May give frank a call. He should be able to tell you stock length as well as sell you longer tubes

i cant find anything in that catalog, or j&p or custom chrome about fxd sliders. everything is 41mm or fxr or sportster.

Tucker rocky/bikers choice lists fork tubes - but I'd check with franks forks first. He may be cheaper and probably better quality.

I appreciate all that jackazz. Those are all 41 mm front ends. The FXD has a 39mm. Pecularily i can find all kinds of info on sportsters and bikes with 41mm front ends, but the dynas don't seem to exist. I sent an email to Frank, we'll see what he can do for me. Thanks for all your hard work fellas.

I've tried emailing frank in the past. I didn't have any luck. He's an old school guy and Im pretty sure he's a small operation with him in the shop working. If he doesn't respond - don't get discouraged. Give him a call. There's a woman that works there (wife maybe?) that is very helpful. It was a couple years ago when I emailed him. He may be better now. I just got used to calling.

just fyi, i think it was on JJ, but i read that frank died years ago, the "woman" is his wife that runs the joint now if i remember correctly. from what i remember (i've slept and drank since i read it), before he died, frank hadn't done much of the actual work for years, he just oversaw and kept the joint running.

I know there's dudes on JJ that have forks that were franked back in the 70's.

and yeah, the whole internet thing evidently is not a high priority for them, i've tried to e-mail without much luck in past too.
